Sahil AliSakoot-e-jaan ka matlab batado phir chale jana
Ya phir sargoshiyan dil ki suna do phir chale jana

Jo mera or tumhara waqt guzra hansne rone main
Usay Poori tarah se tum bhulado phir chale jana

Kisi ko chahne ka aur kisi se chahe jane ka
Jo hai ehsaas tum usko bhulado phir chale jana

Bus ek hansi se apne ashkon ko chupane ka
Jo fun aata hai tum ko, wo shikhado phir chale jana

Wo jo ek lafz-e-ulfat hai, juda hai apne maane se
Bus in alfaz-o-maa'ine ko mitado phir chale jana

Jo kehte kehte ruk gaye, un sari batoon ki
Sama`at ko talab hai wo suna do phir chale jana

Na jane kyun hai, lekin dekhne ki tum ko aadat hai
Meri ye be-wajah aadat churha do phir chale jana

Mery in Roz-O-Shab ka ek fakat unwaan bas tum ho
Mujhe tum doosra unwaan laa do phir chale jana
