kabhi aah ko hum ne lab pe machalnay na diya
kabhi ashq ko hum ne aankh se dhalnay na diya

woh tumharay hi ghum ka chiraagh tha
jisay kabhi bhi hum ne bhujhnay na diya

machal hi jaati hai labon pe aah kabhi kabhi
mil jati hai ashq ko behnay ki raah kabhi kabhi

bhuja diyay thay hum ne tere ghum ke sab chiraagh
jala hi deti hai unhain phir yaad e wafa kabhi kabhi
