From the moment I open my eyes
And even while I sleep
I always know you come in to have a little peek
To make sure that I’m safe
To make sure that I’m warm
I love you mom so dearly
Since the day I was born
I thank god for this miracle
To get a mom like you
You’ve always been there for me
And watched me as I grew
You understand my worries
Helped me through the bad
Given me a big hug when I’m hurt or when I’m sad
Now I’ll say something simple
I love you mom so dear
Thank you for everything you have done
Year, after year, after year
